It is known that the water treatment sector will soon become a very important sector in the world. The need for more and better quality water in industry, the limited availability of clean drinking and potable water resources and the inadequacy of these resources against a growing population make water and its treatment important.
“Today, there are regional shortages of drinking and potable water in Turkey. “
The amount of precipitation in Turkey varies regionally and seasonally. In these regions where surface water resources such as dams, lakes, rivers and spring waters are not available or insufficient, alternative solutions should be sought. These solutions include transporting water by tanker from clean water sources, laying kilometers of pipeline to bring water from other regions, or treating existing water sources with appropriate methods. The most advantageous of these alternatives is to provide drinking and potable water by using existing resources and treating groundwater or sea water if the region is close to the sea.
Non è possibile depurare queste risorse idriche, che presentano un'elevata salinità, con i metodi classici.
It is not possible to treat these water sources with high salinity by classical methods. Further treatment methods need to be applied for the treatment of these waters. These methods are evaporation, ion exchange, reverse electrodialysis and membrane processes. Among these methods, membrane processes are the most preferred. Reverse osmosis systems are the most sensitive membrane filtration method known. Membrane filtration methods retain solids as well as the majority of dissolved organic and inorganic substances. Membrane filtration is sorted as microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis depending on the pressure increase applied.
Nel nostro Paese, i processi a membrana vengono utilizzati principalmente per fornire acqua di alta qualità all’industria.
The reuse of treated water in alternative water sources has been very important in the world in recent years. Reverse osmosis method is widely used especially in iron and steel industry, coating industry and textile industry. In the fruit juice and tomato paste industry, reverse osmosis method is applied to obtain more concentrated products.
The widespread use for drinking and potable water became widespread after 2000. Waterland Water Treatment and Environmental Technologies continues to provide engineering and manufacturing services since the days when membrane processes gave the first examples in Turkey with the 15 years of experience of its founders.
